Description
The Paul Simon Songbook stands as the debut solo studio album by the American singer-songwriter. Recorded in London over various dates in June 1965, the album features re-recordings of two songs, The Sound of Silence and He Was My Brother, originally from Simon & Garfunkel's debut album Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.. Among the remaining tracks, all but two were later re-recorded in studio versions by Simon & Garfunkel.
